Why not use real guns?
Expensive, and unless you have a real budget you should NOT use real guns or even guns that use blanks!!! I can't stress that enough..... Blanks can still kill you!!!!! And contact the police if your going be in public even with fake guns. Baltimore cops will shoot you first, ask questions second. But your dead so it doesn't matter.

Advice for people getting into film:
-make tons of films, and make each film better than the last
-intern at several places -these can lead to "normal" video jobs
(editor, cameraman, producer)
-PA for movies and TV commercials. Once you find that first job your
name will get passed along. (grip, assistant directing, ect)
-working for free at first is great, once you realize your learning
nothing, stop working for free
-don't burn bridges with people, who knows what they will be dong 5
years from now- But a lot of people are full of BS, just know that.
And while I'm dishing out advice, if you really want to make films- Get
into the industry and stay in it! Tough times are ahead! HAHAHAHA i hate
my job, BUT i love what i do- See what i'm saying?
