You are your brand!
The idea about branding is creating an image about your film. Once you have that branding image you should use it in everything you create.
Here is an example of my “Branding” before I settled into the final look.

The changed banner after I developed the final branding look.
The one thing that has stayed consistent from the start was black and white high contract images. The strong font really ties everything together. Here is the same branding carried into youtube videos.
