Do you have a trailers, teasers or tutorials? Share them! The internet is so fragmented you never know where your viewers will come from so plaster your project everywhere. I heard this story recently (kind of applies) - CBS in the past had 50% of all house holds tuning in on any given night, then tv stations proliferated and cable came into the picture now their viewership is around 20%. But CBS owns shares in A&E, MTV and a bunch of other stations adding back up to that 50%. Crazy?!! So don't stop at youtube.

A few places allow widescreen videos without distorting the aspect ratio (video gets squished) such as Youtube, Vimeo and Crackle. For everything else I uploaded a generic web sized video with widescreen bars to stay in the 4:3 ratio. In no particular order:

youtube.com
I'm sure you have heard of youtube.

google video
Google owns youtube and it grabs videos from around the web, but you can also upload directly to them. No upload progression bar.

video.yahoo.com
Main yahoo video site.

bebo.com
This is yahoo's video community. Really fast uploads!

myspace.com
I don't get many views from myspace but their videos are searchable google videos. Who knows maybe they will put it on the front page vs. a cat playing with a ball or some guy getting hit in the nuts.

revver.com
Video ad service.

vimeo.com
Vimeo offers HD uploads upto 500mb per week. Probably the best quality sharing on the net. (can do widescreen)

metacafe.com
Scary amount of advertising.

video.msn.com
Pretty clean actually, and I'm not a pro-mirosoft person.

putfile.com
No progression bar. I saw videos being shared but my video was still a quicktime..?

blip.tv
I think this is meant for internet TV shows.?

clipshack.com
Looks like a lot of home movies, they need more guns.

photobucket.com
showing video ads while i'm trying to upload a video- epic fail in planning

megavideo.com
nice interface, no idea other than that

flixya.com
they like with your google adwords account

crackle.com
another never heard of them site

atom.com
Formally atom films is now only comedys, no war films.

aol video
Aol is a little bitch, their uploader didn't work (on the same file that I used on the rest of these).

veoh.com
Looks cool.

dailymotion.com
Another mega video site.

en.sevenload.com
UK site?

livevideo.com
The ugliest online encoding!

flicklife.com
I don't think this is a porn site, but there is a lot of it. No upload bar.

I'm sure there are a million more!
